Applewood Kennels would like to announce a basic obedience class! It will begin aug.4 at 10:00am. The price of the six week class is $110 or $100 for military families. This is a fun, positive learning class that will set you and your dog up for a wonderful relationship! It is open to dogs 16 weeks and up. Basic obedience class-Starting June 2nd

Where: Applewood Kennels, 487 CR 46, Fort Edward, NY 12828

What: 4 week basic obedience class open to dogs 16 weeks and up

When: June 2, June 9, June 16, and June 23, 2012

Price: $80 per dog, $75 for military and civil servants, paid in full at beginning of 1st class

This class will cover all the basics! A clicker will be provided and you will learn in a fun and exciting way how to work with your dog to make him the best he can be!

Dogs must be current on vaccinations and friendly to be in a group class setting.

These classes are in conjunction with Applewood Kennels, who can take care of your every boarding and daycare need!

Piglets are coming!

April 14th we are picking up 8-10 piglets! This year we got quite a few pre-orders in. We built a new pen that is quite a bit bigger. Kit is in the process of building shelter and we then are going to purchase automatic feeders. We believe this will be a huge factor with promoting a greater weight gain for the pigs.

We recently had our 1850′s barn taken down. We sold the beams to a construction company. They are refinishing the beams and putting them in cabins and high end apartments. We plan on building a new bigger barn down the road. The foundation was built with huge rocks. They left the rocks for us and we are in the process of building a strawberry garden along side of our hill behind the chicken coop. I am praying for a good year for harvesting!
